A MAN has been arrested following yesterday’s (April 15) report of a sexual assault against a teenage girl on a bus in Torquay.

Police were called following a report of a sexual assault against a teenage girl on a bus in Torquay on the afternoon of Wednesday 15 April.

It was reported a male passenger made unwanted comments towards the victim before sexually assaulting her.

A man in his 60s from Torquay was located near where he got off the bus and was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.

The man remains in police custody at this time, Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed.
