A PERMANENT banking hub for Dawlish is one step closer to becoming a reality as a planning application for signage at a property on Brunswick Place is submitted.

25/00762/ADV is seeking permission to install an illuminated Banking Hubs fascisa sign, as well as a heritage projecting sign, associated marketing posters and signs and a door push pad at 14 Brunswick Place, a three-storey property comprising part of a Victorian mid-terrace.

The application has been submitted by Cash Access UK Limited.

Cash Access UK Limited is a not-for-profit company set up by a number of UK banks and building societies to enable consumers and small businesses to access cash, deposit and basic banking services where they are needed across the UK.

The company facilitates the provision of a range of services, including shared banking spaces on local high streets - such as Dawlish.

A deadline of July 29 has been given for a decision on the application.

A temporary Banking Hub opened at the Strand Centre back in 2024.
