VINNIMORE Community Archaeology Dig is holding an open day tomorrow to show people what they’ve found.

As part of the Lustleigh Parishscape Project, the dig of a past medieval farmstead in the Bovey Valley has been organised by the Lustleigh Society working with Dartmoor National Park, the Woodland Trust and Natural England.

To attend the open day from 11am to 4pm, park at Pullabrook Wood Car Park, Drakeford Bridge or Lower Trendlebere Car Park off Manaton Road and follow the signs through the woods. It’s approximately one mile from both car parks on rough surfaced paths with steep sections in places.
