IPPLEPEN Community Hub is becoming a well-know hot spot for local art and this month is no exception.
Ogwell’s Elizabeth Rashley, who is also a member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, is showcasing 34 pieces of her linocuts until October 4.
Her linocuts are all about imagination, bold shapes and pattern.
Elizabeth’s art has developed from black and white prints to much more complex colour reduction prints, where the lino block is repeatedly reduces by cutting away each colour and printing.
The hub, located behind the village’s Methodist Church in East Street, is open on Tuesdays and Thursday 10am until 4pm, Fridays from 2pm until 6pm and Saturdays from 10am until 12.30pm.
