TEIGNMOUTH residents have been urged to help preserve a blighted town centre building for community use.
The Tomorrow's Teignmouth premises (formerly Swanson Motors) in Northumberland Place is now an empty eyesore, and an arts group has been offered a two-year lease by the owner, Teignbridge Council.
But the building needs urgent repairs to the roof, a fire alarm, a disabled toilet, and general electrical work, costing thousands of pounds.
Now the Teignmouth Arts Advisory Group (TAAG) is appealing for financial help, materials and work volunteers to come forward.
