The man – Tyrone Jones, of Powderham Court – had been arrested and on Tuesday was charged with affray.
He appeared at South Devon Magistrates Court, Torquay, on Wednesday and was bailed to reappear there on October 12, when committal proceedings are likely to start. He did not enter a plea.
