BAT hunters in Exminster came up trumps with a group of feeding pipistrelles.
Exminster Green Spaces, the village’s environmental group, led a Bat Walk which was well attended.
The enthusiastic group took part in the second such event held in the village.
One of the organisers Jeremy Pyne said: ‘A gang of feeding pipistrelles put on a display for us along the lime tree avenue in Devington Drive.
‘Thanks to our ecologist Helen Calver who again provided expert commentary.
‘We finished with a huddle down in Spurfield where we put up our bat box earlier in the year.
‘One or two more pips were checking out the new accommodation.’
