AN Exeter firm has made moves towards building up to 150 homes in the gardens of Indio House, Bovey Tracey.
Agents acting for Waddeton Park Ltd have approached Teignbridge Council asking if its planning application, when submitted, will need a formal environmental impact assessment.
The firm hopes to develop up to 18 acres of land adjacent to the 19th century Grade II listed property and create a traffic-free path from Indio Road to Newton Road.
The site has been included in the draft Plan Teignbridge 20-year development vision
