EFFORTS are being made to reintroduce at least some of the children's play sessions that were lost to a Newton Abbot housing estate as victims of county council funding cuts.

The youth club provision at Buckland and Milber Community Centre was axed in July as part of cost savings across Devon.

But now volunteers from the association that runs the centre are working with the Newton Abbot Community Interest Company to remedy the situation.
