AS towns all across the country come out in force this month to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, Newton Abbot Town Council is inviting residents to join in.

Three beacons will light up the town on April 21 and the public are invited to go and watch the spectacle.

The beacons will be at Stonesmans Hill in Wolborough, Shaldon Road in Buckland and a field in front of All Saints Church, Highweek.

The lighting will begin at 8.30pm.
