LORA Fielding and Anthony Barrow have won several championships with their cattle, but until Saturday in more than 20 years of showing they had never taken the top prize at their local Newton Abbot Christmas Show.

Black Beauty was born in February last year. Her mother was a Limousin Cross Blue and the sire a pure Limousin.

Lora and Anthony, who farm at Stormsdown, Bickington, bought her at Brecon, south Wales.

On Tuesday she was off to the Dartmouth Fatstock Show hoping to complete the hat-trick, before being sold.
