A 300m exclusion zone has been set up from the Bay Hotel, Teignmouth to The Point car park, after a bomb was reported to have been found on the beach in front of Lighthouse.

One onlooker said it seems to be a Mortar bomb shape and is 4ft in length.

Owners of cars in Point Car Park are allowed to go and remove them.

The Bomb Disposal team has now arrived.
