A Teignmouth guest house has reopened under new management.

The Lynton, formerly the Lynton House Hotel, opened to the public on Friday (30 May) after several weeks of refurbishment.

The new owners are familiar faces in Teignmouth as they are the landlords of The Brass.

Byron Beacham and Jamie Ayre picked up the keys to their latest venture in March and have transformed the downstairs to create a light, bright, airy bar. ‘The décor is almost identical to The Brass,’ commented Byron.

Located on the Powderham Terrace, opposite the park, The Lynton has 12 rooms of bed and breakfast accommodation and a bar and sunny beer garden that are open to the public.

Byron and Jamie plan to start offering food, including daily specials and Sunday Roasts, in the near future.
