HEATHFIELD-BASED Mole Valley Farmers’ is celebrating an impressive milestone on Tuesday with a series of events.

The popular farming shop is marking 30 years of trading in the area with free giveaways, special offers, food tastings and competitions.

On Tuesday the shop will offer members double discounts, a chance to win £300 of Mole Valley vouchers and two hampers filled with food and drink.

Halletts Bakery, Barbers Cheese, Dunstaple Ice Cream and Westaways Sausages will be on hand giving shoppers a sample of their products.

Store manager Jay McCoy said: ‘We are proud to have served the community around Newton Abbot for thirty years and want to give something back to our loyal customers – many of whom ave been with us from the outset – as a way of a thank you.

‘We are proud to have traded in Newton Abbot for the last 30 years and keen to celebrate with customers old and new.

‘We are not planning for and looking ahead to the next three decades.’

The store, located at Heathfield Industrial Estate, has 10 retail outlets in the south west and is one of the area’s significant employers with a turnover in excess of £425million.
