Alan Ashby, of Pellew Way, Teignmouth, writes:
The Teignmouth Post published the story Probe into parking problems on August 18.
Why waste £8,000 on a survey? May I remind councillors that it was stated that once the back beach flood defence scheme was finshed then work would commence in Brunswick Street.
I would like to suggest that the old Swansons garage be demolished and the area next to the Salvation Army Hall be developed into car parking; this would give the town some of the parking lost when the Co-op was built.
It would also keep the toilets, since there would not be any in this part of the town.
