A TROUPE of Mexican characters have been spotted around and about adding some colour to the streets of Dawlish.

The sombrero-sporting quartet were raising money and awareness for Dawlish Celebrates Carnival.

A spokesman said: ‘Every penny is needed to pay for this week-long spectacular. These volunteers gave their time to help the committee ensure success hosting this year’s carnival.’
