Teign Choral Society will again be supporting the League of Friends of Teignmouth Hospital with its annual Christmas carol concert.

This year’s festive music show will celebrate the recent 80th birthday of Sir John Rutter who is best known for his Christmas carols and church music.

As well as solos from Peter Wood, accompanied by Hannah Spooner and conducted by Ilana Jacobs, the concert will include plenty of opportunities for everyone to join in and sing.

The event takes place at St James’ Church in Teignmouth at 7.30pm on Friday December 5.

Tickets cost £10 and include a programme and refreshments.

The League of Friends of Teignmouth Hospital continues to work with MP Martin Wrigley and local councillors to fight for the future of the historic Mill Lane hospital.
