GENEROUS Teignmouth traders and volunteers have shown real festive spirit to ensure 'home alone' folk have a traditional Christmas day to remember.
A slap up lunch with all the trimmings is being laid on for 40 people who would otherwise have little or no company.
And the organiser, Heather Graham, said she was 'overwhelmed' by the response of business people who 'responded magnificently' to a request for help.
'I wrote letters to the traders asking if they could donate food and presents, but realised that with the economic situation, it could be difficult for them.
