MORE than 600 years of history will be on show this month as ­Newton Abbot’s St Mary’s Church throws its doors open to guests.

Visitors will be able to pop into the church in Wolborough for a spot of organ playing before taking a guided tour and nibbling on a cream tea.

The church – which has 18 stained glass windows – is open every Wednesday in August from 2pm until 4.30pm.
