CITIZENS Advice Teignbridge is calling on local people to consider volunteering with them.
Volunteers play a vital role in delivering free, confidential advice to people facing a wide range of issues - from debt and housing to benefits and employment.
Last year, Citizens Advice Teignbridge helped close to 7,000 people.
No prior experience is required, though you will need to be confident using a computer, and have a willingness to listen, learn, and help others.
Citizen’s Advice are holding face to face volunteer ‘taster’ sessions on Wednesday, April 8 from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
There will be a two-hour presentation on the service we deliver in the community and the volunteer opportunities available.
