TEIGNBRIDGE Council is poised to complete the £13 million purchase of a Newton Abbot shopping centre, it has been revealed.
The authority has bid to buy Market Walk as a way of investing in the town and generating income in the future.
Built in the 1970s, the open-air arcade is home to a host of national stores in 20 retail units and the market.
