THE Community Breakfast Cafe at Teignmouth’s Alice Cross Centre gotthe big thumb’s up fromlocal councillors this week.
‘We were delighted to host the local councillors’ drop-in session at our Community Breakfast Café this Saturday,’ said Jackie O’Brien, manager of The Alice Cross Centre.
Cllr David Cox said: ‘What a wonderful breakfast and very good value for money.’
The breakfast café is on every Saturday at the centre from 8.30am to midday. The menu is shown with a suggested donation, or guests can pay what they can afford.
‘We set up the breakfast café in response to the cost of living crisis,’ explained Jackie.
‘We want our community to be able to access affordable and tasty food in a relaxed setting. Dogs are welcome and they might even get a sausage for a treat if they are lucky!’
‘There are lots of breakfast options from a Full English to a Granola and Berry bowl, so all tastes are catered for. Pop by and try,’ suggests Jackie, ‘We hope to welcome you soon.
