Of the six ladies who received their bowls county coats at the Den, Teignmouth, on Friday, three were from Abbrook Park, Kingsteignton.

They were playing for Bowls Devon Ladies against Section Five Ladies.

The Abbrook Park trio (pictured above) were Jean Stevens, Carol Lloyd and Margaret Priscott. The coats were presented by Sue Trott, Bowls Devon Ladies president.

Sunday was Captain's Day at Abbrook. New captain John Davison organised the events, which started with a four, three, two, one type game that some members found a bit confusing!

Nontheless, they got through it before the customary tea and raffle.
