A MAN from Buckfastleigh has been banned from driving for 15 months.
Ian Abbot, 76, of Glebelands, pleaded guilty to driving a car in Buckfastleigh on March 22 with 53 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He was fined £276 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and prosecution costs of £85.
