Trial for man charged with sending illegal letters
A MAN is to go on trial accused of sending letters to a woman in Newton Abbot when banned from doing so.
Dean Rossington, 64, of Langdon Hospital, Dawlish, was remanded in custody until the trial which is listed for August 28.
Rossington is facing three charges of sending letters to the woman, without reasonable excuse, while barred from doing so by a sexual harm prevention order imposed in 2016.
The allegations are the three letters were sent in May and June 2020.
