DAWLISH Town Council will be marking Emergency Services Day today.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Lynda Littlewood will be leading the event to honour members of all emergency services.

The event starts today at the Bandstand on the Lawn at 11.45 with a flag being raised at noon.

A spokesman for the town council said: ‘Join us today in honouring our amazing emergency services personnel.

‘Come along and show your support for the incredible people who keep us safe every day.’
