The pantomime Downcast Abbey will run for three nights at the The Avenue Church, Newton Abbot.
Henry – Earl Grey – is the owner of Downcast Abbey which is situated at Banbury Cross. Sadly, ever since he lost his wife, Lady Jane, he has been in the depths of despair.
Lady Jane used to wear expensive jewellery which is now kept in a safe and secure special box.
The Dowager Countess, concerned for her son’s wellbeing, arranges a meeting with the widowed Lady Twining from Maxwell House. Thus starts an upstairs/downstairs production of hilarity, tall stories, song and dance.
Performances are tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, February 22, 23 and 24th at 7.30pm, with a matinee on the final day at 2.30pm.
