EMERGENCY services were called to the A38 at Kennford on Thursday morning following a single-vehicle collision.

Police received reports of the incident at around 10.30am on June 4.

The driver was assessed at the scene by the ambulance service after suffering what is believed to have been a medical episode.

No further details about the driver's condition have been released.

The collision caused disruption on the eastbound carriageway of A38

The road reopened and traffic has returned to normal at around 12pm.
