MORE students than ever before have achieved 100 per cent attendance at Newton Abbot College.

A total of 114 pupils completed this feat over the 2015/16 academic year and were invited to lunch in the college’s new hall to celebrate.

A treat-filled meal was served by principal Paul Cornish and members of the college leadership team.

Four lucky students also received £50 shopping vouchers after their names were picked at random.

Head of house Tracy Dommett said: ‘It is so important to recognise the great achievement of 100 per cent attendance.

‘The number of students achieving this is growing year on year. Students really strive towards being part of this prestigious club.’
