POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man died after being hit by a car at Torbay Hospital.

The man, 82, died as a result of his injuries fowling the incident at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, May 14.

The collision involved a Hyundai i20 driven by a 72-year-old female.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Sadly, the male died as a result of his injuries on Tuesday, May 20 at Torbay Hospital.
