Leba Hibbert, acclaimed singer, songwriter and daughter of the legendary Frederick “Toots” Hibbert, is now lead singer of the new look Toots and the Maytals band, and will be keeping her father’s legacy alive when the band plays Torquay’s Arena next month as part of a UK tour.

The band is dedicated to celebrate and pay tribute to the man who coined the phrase “Reggae” by performing songs from his extensive catalogue of hits as well as songs from her catalogue.

Leba has spent many years performing on stages around the world with her dad, and recorded with numerous reggae acts, including Jimmy Cliff & Lebo M, on the soundtrack of the movie “Lion King.”

Tickets for the gig on May 29 can be booked at www.arenatorquay.com.
