Police have given their full support to Teignmouth’s upcoming Pride weekend.

On their Facebook Page Teignmouth and Dawlish Police say: ‘Devon and Cornwall Police are proud to support the very first Teignmouth Pride Event on September 10th and 11th.

‘A Vauxhall Corsa with the ‘Policing With Pride, Policing With Respect decals’ has been kindly loaned from another area to support the town’s event.

‘Local officers and the Diversity Team will also be present during both of the days.’

On September 10 and 11, Teignmouth will hold its first ever Pride event at The Triangle and Hollands Road, Teignmouth, from 10am until late.

It’s a family friendly free event which will include live music performances and drag artists, stalls and support groups from across the community to celebrate our diverse and vibrant town coming together in support of our LGBTQIA+ friends and family.
