The sparkle and glamour of Eurovision helped raise almost £700 for Teignmouth’s Alice Cross Centre at the weekend.

The community centre’s annual Eurovision Party on Saturday (May 17), included Eurovision bingo, a raffle and a sweepstake to guess the winning country.

Many donned their glitziest fancy dress with plenty of sequinned jumpsuits and national costumes on show.

‘The Eurovision party has become one of our most anticipated annual events,’ said Alice Cross Centre manager, Peta Howell. ‘Not only does it bring together people for an evening of fun and entertainment, but it also raises vital funds that allow us to continue providing services to our community.’

The £694.31 raised will directly support the Centre’s ongoing programmes and activities to help it continue its mission of serving the local community.
