TEIGNMOUTH paralympic marksman James Bevis has revealed how he banned his family from attending the first part of the London 2012 event, wanting to focus on the competition.
But now he has secured a shooting bronze, he insists they can now see him as much as they want.
The 36-year-old had just one event at London 2012, the mixed 10m air rifle prone and didn't want anything to distract him from winning a medal.
So he told his family the night before taking to the range that he wanted them to watch him only from the halfway stage onwards.
