ALES, ciders, food and live music will all be on the bill in Ipplepen this weekend.

The annual Ipple Tipple Beer Festival is part of the annual Ipplepen Village Garden Show, an event that as always  that promises to be full of and family activities which opens its doors on Saturday afternoon.

Visitors to the show can expect to see a huge selection of prize-winning fruit, vegetables and flowers, plus bakes and craft items on display, as well  as a wide range of stalls, classic car displays and activities for all age ranges.

The beer festival will feature over forty of the choicest brewers from Devon ale makers, and will also feature live music from Go Tell Alice, The Filthy Gorgeous, Busta Groove and the Unity in Sound Community Choir.

Run by volunteers, the festival raises funds that go back into the local community.

The show itself opens to the public in Ipplepen Park at 1pm, with the Ipple Tipple kicking off at 2pm.
