THE return of a farmers' market to Teignmouth has been welcomed by producers and the public.
Six stalls traded in The Triangle on Saturday, the first time such an event has taken place in town since November 2012.
When the next takes place on September 27 many more are expected to join them according to organiser and Slow Food champion Lori Reich, of Bishopsteignton's Shute Fruit.
'Saturday's market was fabulous,' she said.
'Being the first one there were not that many producers able to come but those who could were of the highest quality.
