FIREFIGHTERS were called to a vehicle fire on the A380 between Wapperwell and Eagle Farm yesterday (April 29).

Two engines from Teignmouth attended the scene after being alerted at 6.47pm.

On arrival crews discovered the vehicle was well alight and got to work using breathing apparatus and compressed air foam.

The fire was successfully extinguished but the vehicle was left severely damaged.
