A LOCAL Royal British Legion club is to host a special fish and chip supper evening in aid of a young BMX rider.
The Newton Abbot club is inviting people to attend the fundraiser on July 18.
It is in aid of nine-year-old BMX rider Trixie Trays.
Trixie has only been competing in the British Cycling BMX National Series since March 2024.
In 2023, the young rider placed third at the British Championships and won the Regional Series.
Both members and non-members alike are invited for fish and chips on Friday, July 18.
The evening gets underway from 7.30pm.
