ALL three emergency services were called to the A380 between Ware Barton and Penn Inn, Newton Abbot, last night after reports of a multiple-car pile-up.

The five-car collision happened at around 5.45pm, just north of the new Torquay Bypass.

The road was closed and traffic was diverted via Teignmouth.

One casualty was taken to Torbay Hospital suffering chest injuries.

The road was re-opened at 7.30pm.
