HUNDREDS of folk fans will pour into Teignmouth at the weekend for the annual folk festival.

They are coming from all over the country, and will be staying hotels, guest houses and campsites to give an early season boost to businesses.

The line-up includes one of Scotland's greatest bands, the Tannahill Weavers, below, who are due to headline on Saturday night at the Carlton Theatre.

The same venue on Sunday will feature one of the true legends of Irish music, Andy Irvine, a member of iconic bands such as Sweeney's Men, Planxty and Patrick Sweet.
