NEGOTIATIONS are continuing to reach a financial settlement between the trustees of Kingsteignton youth centre and Devon County Council.

Officers came forward this week with a figure after withdrawing youth services at the Broadway Road centre a month earlier than expected.

The trustees, all town councillors, have rejected the initial offer made by the local authority but are hoping further negotiations will come to a 'satisfactory' agreement.
