HUNDREDS of people enjoyed food and drink from local producers at the second Dawlish Food Festival.

The summer’s planned event had to be cancelled due to extreme weather but the organisers rescheduled for a bright and sunny October day.

Among the stalls were Dawlish-based Forest Fungi, Bollhays cider, Just Roll With It gourmet sausage rolls along with artisan bakers, pies and pasties, fudge, flapjacks, drinks and deli products.

Visitors were kept entertained by live music and there were games and children’s entertainers.

Organiser Beverley Millner- Simonds said: ‘It’s been a magnificent autumn day on the Lawn packed with fantastic food and drink producers, made possible with the support of Dawlish Town Council. This is our second festival here in Dawlish and it’s brilliant to bring together great local producers and for residents and visitors to find these fantastic products.’
