A fun weekend's racing took place in south Devon last weekend. The Dawlish Coasters camped at Strete for the Strete 10-mile Challenge and Mini Challenge. Eight Coasters completed the tough and extremely hilly course. First Dawlish runner home and second overall with a fantastic performance was Roy Brown in 1.10.15. He was followed by Nathan White, who was sixth overall in 1.19.31. Birthday boy Ian Lynch was seventh in 1.21.44, Simon Bunday (10th) 1.23.52, Kevin Thompson (13th) 1.29.31, Helen Lynch (15th) (first vet lady) and Robin Millman (26th) 1.50.33. Pat Clatworthy entered the mini challenge (also hilly) and completed the 4.2 mile course in an unrecorded time.
