MUSE bassist Chris Wolstenholme wears his heart on his arms.

He popped into a Teignmouth tattoo parlour to have two tattoos on each forearm – one to celebrate his new baby, and the other to show his love for his wife, Kelly.

And they will go on public display for the first time at the two seafront gigs tonight and tomorrow.

For tattooist Gina Topaz at The Ink Spot in Northumberland Place, it was a big thrill to have such a famous customer.

'I am a big fan of Muse and will be going to the concert. Chris had the names written in Arabic, and it took about 40 minutes. He has had other tattoos done here in the past.

'He was very easy going and relaxed, and nice to talk to. It was the highlight of my career, and I am so excited to think that my work will be seen by millions at gigs around the world and on television.'
