TEIGNMOUTH'S new fish quay scheme, costing nearly £1 million, finally looks like becoming a reality after the many parties involved reached agreement.

The development, which will benefit the fishing and leisure industries, has been delayed by internal wrangling, and at one stage there were fears it could be scrapped because funding offers could be withdrawn.

But now the different bodies have reached a deal, and if all goes smoothly it will be another big regeneration project for the town.
