New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Teignbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Shed In Town at Station Road Dawlish; rated on October 1

• Rated 5: Wild Swan Brasserie at 18 The Strand Dawlish; rated on October 1

• Rated 5: Primrose Cottage Tearooms at Lustleigh Devon; rated on September 25

It means that of Teignbridge's 249 similar establishments with ratings, 221 (89%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
