A couple of good Samaritans came to the aid of a person in distress at Teignmouth railway station last Wednesday (May 14).
A witness reported that two people dragged a young man from the tracks and waited with him while assistance arrived.
A spokesperson from the British Transport Police said: ‘Officers received reports of a concern for welfare for a person at Teignmouth Railway Station shortly before 10.45pm last Wednesday 14 May. A person was located and taken to a place of safety, they are now receiving appropriate care.’
