Traditionally a fun occasion at Hele Park Golf Club, Captains' Day is an opportunity for the captains Guy Westaway, Katie Mowll and junior section captain Josh Martin to say thank you to the members for supporting them in their year.
Playing a four-ball Texas Scramble with a Twist, many members were hampered by their choice of dress.
The final winners were Jamie Fleming (Elvis). Leah Roelich (Peter Pan), director of golf Duncan Arnold (The Joker) and Sam Dunn (Smurf).
A stewards' enquiry was immediately instigated and Duncan kindly donated the money for his prize to the captain's charity, Cancer Research.
