The man who has led St Michael's C of E Primary School, Kingsteignton, for the past five years, could be in line to take the title of Britain's best primary headteacher.
Martin Harding was given the senior post at St Michael's in January 2005 after serving as deputy at Canada Hill, Ogwell, and then head at Moretonhampstead.
Soon after his arrival praise started to come his way.
