‘Some places will miss these showers and remain dry. Where showers do occur inland they will fall as snow, especially over the hills and moors, and patchy accumulations of one to two cm snow are possible with a few centimetres of snow falling over parts of Dartmoor.
‘Meanwhile, in coastal areas, showers are more likely to fall as a mixture of rain, sleet and snow and any accumulations of snow will be much smaller and patchier in nature.’
